A midnight assault on the Giant of Provence through wild Provençal hill country
Other trail races within 175 miles
The flagship distance of the Grand Raid Ventoux tackles 126 km through the heart of Provençal landscapes, culminating in the legendary ascent of Mont Ventoux (1,909 m). Starting in Malaucène at midnight, the route winds through perched villages, limestone gorges, and the wild ridgelines of the Dentelles de Montmirail before delivering runners back to Malaucène at the foot of the Giant of Provence. The 5,700 m of climbing and unpredictable April weather—swinging from 30°C heat in the valleys to near-freezing on the summit—make this one of southern France's most demanding ultras.
