62 miles along the Continental Divide through remote Idaho-Montana high country
Other trail races within 185 miles
The Beaverhead 100k follows 62 miles of the Continental Divide from Bannock Pass on the Idaho-Montana border to the finish in the Bohannon Creek drainage near Salmon, Idaho. The course tracks the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail (CDT) for the first 49 miles — always at high elevation, traversing the true continental divide before dropping off into the headwaters of Bohannon Creek. Terrain alternates between smooth singletrack, ATV doubletrack, and alpine boulder/scree fields. No pacers are allowed, making it a true solo sufferfest through some of the most remote high-country terrain in the American West.
