The shortest adult race of UTMB week: a 15 km loop from Courmayeur in Italy's Aosta Valley with about 1,200 m of climbing. For 2026 the climb was made more gradual on the way up to the Aosta Valley balcony trails facing Mont-Blanc, passing La Suche (1,818 m), before the descent back into Courmayeur. The time limit is 4 h 30. Since 2026 entry has been by lottery. No crew help is allowed on course.

Late August around Mont-Blanc can bring anything. The valleys (Chamonix about 1,035 m, Courmayeur about 1,220 m) often see 20–30 °C days, while the passes above 2,000 m can drop below freezing at night, and the organizers warn of temperatures down to −10 °C, with rain, hail or snow possible. Afternoon thunderstorms are common, and weather can force course changes or delays.
